Items are not reserved in your shopping cart. Your order is complete once you have checked out and received an order confirmation email.

Purchase Limits

Limits are set on some of our most sought-after varieties so more people have the opportunity to purchase their dream dahlias. Please respect these limits and place your orders carefully. Orders exceeding stated limits will be refunded.

Tuber Quality Guarantee

Your support of our small farm means the world to us, and it is always our goal for you to be happy with your purchase. We guarantee that tubers will arrive in good condition with at least one visible eye.

Please inspect your tubers immediately upon arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, email flirtybirdllc@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. We are unable to offer refunds or credits after this timeframe.

We are not responsible for damage caused by weather conditions, pest pressure, soil or field conditions, or negligence after delivery.

Substitutions

As a small farm, we do not offer substitutions for stock loss. In the event of stock loss between the time an order is placed and when it ships, you will be notified by email and refunded accordingly.

Dahlia Tuber Shipping

Dahlia tubers will ship starting in March through May, when temperatures in your region are safe for transit. We actively monitor weather conditions and ship as soon as it is safe to do so.

  • We ship within the United States only

  • Orders may be combined for a $3 labor fee per order

  • If combining orders moves you into a higher shipping tier, shipping costs will be adjusted accordingly

To receive a shipping refund for combined orders, please email flirtybirdllc@gmail.com after placing your orders and include all order numbers. Orders will not be combined without an email request.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Once a package has shipped, we are no longer responsible for it. If a package is delayed, lost in transit, or arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Once an order is placed:

  • Items cannot be added or removed

  • Orders cannot be canceled

Please place a separate order if you wish to purchase additional items.

Grower’s Grade (B-Grade) Tubers

Grower’s Grade, or B-Grade tubers, are considered “second quality.” By purchasing B-Grade tubers, you acknowledge and accept that they may be small, skinny, slightly shriveled, have a portion of the end cut off, or be cosmetically imperfect.

While they may not be picture-perfect, all B-Grade tubers have at least one good, visible eye and should be fully viable to grow. These are the same types of tubers many farmers save to plant for themselves. We are happy to offer our extras at a discounted price.

Due to their nature, B-Grade tubers are sold as-is and are not eligible for refunds, replacements, or credits.

Dahlia Variety Guarantee

Tubers will be sent with a visible eye, neck, and body - all of the requirements necessary to grow into a beautiful bloom.  We are diligent with labeling, and if there's a shadow of a doubt it gets put into a no ID bin.  If your tuber does not grow true to the variety purchased, contact us and we will send you a tuber the following season.  If we are no longer growing that variety, we will issue you a store credit to use for the original purchase value.  

Virus Policy

Throughout the growing season, we aggressively cull any plants showing signs of virus. We also practice organic pest control, release beneficial insects multiple times per season, and sanitize snips between every plant every step of the way - when cutting flowers during the season, digging, and dividing.

That said, virus is very common in dahlias—an estimated 80–90% of dahlias carry one or more viruses. Some viruses may not show symptoms until later in the growing season.

By purchasing our tubers, you acknowledge and accept this risk. Tubers or plants showing signs of virus are not eligible for refunds, replacements, or credits.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer, at any time.
